Nate Moen
Senior Financial Advisor
As a senior financial advisor, Nate Moen specializes in providing clients with holistic financial planning, including retirement planning, investment management, estate planning, and risk management. He works closely with individuals and families to determine goals, implement financial plans, and regularly monitor each client’s unique plan to help them stay on track for long-term financial wellness. He enjoys helping clients identify and address their unique needs and helping them throughout their financial journey.
Nate joined Alerus in July 2023. He has nearly 20 years of financial industry experience and has worked in a variety of settings, from independent financial service providers to a Fortune 500 company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Dakota and a Certified Financial Planner designation.
In his free time, Nate enjoys hunting, fishing, and serving as a volunteer coach for hockey and lacrosse. He currently serves as president of the Rogers Youth Hockey Association. He and his wife Marie live in Rogers, Minnesota, with their three children.
