Darshanaa Patel joined Alerus in September 2018. As a relationship banker, she assists clients in identifying their specific financial needs and provides comprehensive advice to help them achieve their financial wellness goals. Darshanaa works closely with experts across Alerus to ensure every client has access to its full suite of diversified services to meet their needs.
Darshanaa has nearly 10 years of financial industry experience, specializing in retail banking and lending, risk management, fraud detection, auditing and compliance, and client service. She holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Bharathiyar University in TamilNadu, India, and a diploma in medical microbiology from North Hennepin Community College. She is actively involved with the Hindu Society of Minnesota and volunteers her time to help organize Indian cultural events in the community.
In her free time, Darshanaa enjoys expanding her culinary skills by developing new recipes for her catering business. She lives in Plymouth, Minnesota, with her husband, Ashok Palaniswamy, and their two daughters.
