As a commercial banking relationship manager at Alerus, Eric Gundersen provides business clients with commercial banking services. He serves as a financial partner as businesses grow and evolve, providing guidance and connections to Alerus specialists as needed for long-term, efficient, and complete financial services that help businesses thrive. His duties include development of new business, underwriting, structuring and closing commercial loans, and maintaining and servicing a commercial loan portfolio.
Eric joined Alerus in July 2023, bringing 20 years of financial industry experience. His career experience includes more than a decade specializing in commercial and business banking in the Twin Cities. Before joining Alerus, Eric served as a senior vice president and commercial lender at Bridgewater Bank. He holds a master’s degree in banking and financial services management from Boston University.
