Prairie Business names Alerus among 50 Best Places to Work

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Sept. 2, 2020) – Alerus is pleased to announce it has again been named one of the region’s 50 Best Places to Work by Prairie Business magazine. To be considered for the award, companies must be nominated by their employees, who provide anonymous responses to questions gauging topics including the company’s work environment, growth opportunities, and employee morale. This year’s honorees were selected from more than 1,400 employee nominations received from companies in North Dakota, South Dakota and western Minnesota.

This is the fourth consecutive year Alerus has been recognized as a Best Place to Work.

“Our culture is centered on supporting each other and fostering mutual respect so we can take the best care of our clients,” said Alerus Chairman, President and CEO Randy Newman. “Building a company’s culture is a long-term investment, and our team has worked very hard to make Alerus an employer of choice. To receive this recognition from our employees for four consecutive years is extremely gratifying, humbling, and motivates us to continue making our company a great place to work.”

Alerus currently has about 800 employees – nearly half of them are based in Grand Forks, Northwood and Fargo, North Dakota.
