Paul Wick Joins Alerus as Director, Private and Institutional Services

Alerus is pleased to announce Paul Wick has joined the company as senior vice president and director of private and institutional services. In this newly created role, he will develop relationships with institutional investment clients across the company’s footprint and lead Alerus wealth advisors in Minnesota.

A Chartered Financial Analyst, Paul has more than 30 years of financial industry experience, including extensive expertise in managing complex investment portfolios. Before joining Alerus, he served for 14 years as chief investment officer and a senior consultant at a registered investment advisor, where he oversaw more than $7.5 billion in client assets. He holds the Series 65 securities registration, a bachelor’s degree in business economics from St. Cloud State University, and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

Committed to giving back to his community, Paul helped found the Laker Education Foundation and continues to serve on its board of directors. The organization supports Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools in Minnesota.

Paul is based in Alerus’ Minnetonka office.
