Gleason Austin Group Named Top Producer by MN Housing

MINNETONKA, MINNESOTA (May 31, 2023) – Alerus is pleased to announce mortgage banker Bob Austin, as part of the Gleason Austin Group, was named a top producer by Minnesota Housing for loan production volume in 2022.

Austin and his partner, Pat Gleason, have more than 40 years of combined experience in the mortgage industry. They provide expert mortgage lending service to clients of all income levels and have extensive expertise assisting clients seeking affordable housing or down payment assistance.

The Minnesota Housing Top Producing Loan Officer Program has recognized individual loan officers with the highest volume of Minnesota Housing program loans for more than a decade. This is the fourth time the Gleason Austin Group has been recognized among the top producers in the state. They previously earned recognition in 2022, 2021, 2017, and 2014.

Minnesota Housing is the state’s housing finance agency and focuses on providing access to safe and affordable housing. In 2022, Minnesota Housing’s participating lenders provided nearly 5,600 home mortgage loans for almost $1.3 billion statewide; 40% of first-time mortgages served Black, Indigenous, and homeowners of color.
