David Van Slyke joins Alerus as Commercial Banker

David Van Slyke has joined Alerus as a senior vice president and commercial banker, based in Phoenix. In this role, he works closely with commercial and industrial clients to develop customized financial solutions that support their operational needs and long-term business objectives. As the primary point of contact, he also provides a seamless connection to Alerus’ comprehensive suite of financial services.

David has more than 20 years of financial experience, including extensive expertise in commercial and corporate banking. Before joining Alerus, he served as vice president of commercial banking at Bankers Trust in Phoenix. David has spent his entire career in the Phoenix market and contributes deep insight into the region’s economy, industries, and business landscape.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
