Chad Vitzthum joins Alerus as Lead Business Advisor

Alerus is pleased to welcome Chad Vitzthum as a lead business advisor, based in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Chad draws from over 30 years of financial industry experience to provide business and commercial clients with comprehensive advice and financial solutions to meet their current and long-term needs. He serves as the trusted point of contact for each of his clients and connects them with Alerus specialists throughout Alerus as needed to ensure they receive the right products and services as they are needed.

Before joining Alerus, Chad spent 18 years specializing in commercial lending at First Bank Elk River and served as lead market president for 14 of those years. Prior to that, he spent 12 years working in commercial banking for financial institutions including Marquette Bank and Great Northern Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Iowa State University.
