AzBusiness names Catherine Harmon among Most Influential Women in Arizona

AzBusiness magazine has named Catherine Harmon to its 2025 list of the Most Influential Women in Arizona. Honorees were selected by a panel of past recipients and were chosen for their demonstrated professional excellence and contributions made in their communities.

Harmon leads Alerus’ commercial banking team in Arizona and has 25 years of experience in commercial lending. She has extensive expertise in commercial and industrial lending, commercial real estate, and credit analysis. As the commercial banking team lead, she is responsible for generating new business opportunities and guiding the commercial banking team in Arizona. She also serves clients directly.

Harmon was born and raised in Taiwan and moved to the United States at age 18 to pursue higher education opportunities. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and management and a master’s degree in real estate development from the University of Utah.  She is passionate about giving back to her community and currently serves as treasurer for Phoenix-based nonprofit Gabriel’s Angels.
