Alerus adds Sam Schwieters as Business Banker

Sam Schwieters has joined Alerus as an associate vice president and business banker, based in Minnetonka. In this role, he provides tailored banking and financing solutions to support his clients’ growth and operational needs. He serves as a single point of contact to connect clients with the full range of Alerus’ financial services as they are needed.

Sam brings five years of financial industry experience, with expertise in credit analysis and client service. Before joining Alerus, he was a senior credit analyst and portfolio manager at Scale Bank. He is passionate about understanding each client’s business to provide personalized guidance that helps them achieve their goals.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
