Alerus Adds Jennifer Collison as Mortgage Banker
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Dec. 8, 2021) – Alerus is pleased to announce the addition of Jennifer Collison as mortgage banker. In this role, she helps clients navigate home loan programs to determine the right match for their unique needs. She has expertise in conventional, VA, FHA, USDA Rural Development, and one-time close construction loans, and specializes in counseling first-time home buyers. She is based in Alerus’ office at 401 Demers Avenue in downtown Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Collison has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial industry, and has served in roles including mortgage loan originator, personal banker, and lead financial services officer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and management from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. She completed the National Mortgage Licensing System Safe Mortgage exam and was nominated as an Affiliate of the Year in 2020 by the Greater Grand Forks Realtors Association. She is also a member of the Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals. In her free time, she enjoys all competitive sports and serves as a basketball and volleyball coach for Larimore Public School. She lives in Larimore, North Dakota, with her husband, Chris, and their two sons.
