Q: What is Alerus' routing number?
A: The Alerus routing number is 091300159.

Q: My debit card/credit card has been lost or stolen. What should I do?
A: Review your account activity closely to identify any unauthorized charges and report to the bank immediately to deactivate the lost or stolen card and request a new one. You may stop by select branches to obtain a new debit card on the spot, or you may call the Alerus Customer Care Center at 888.409.5375 to request a new one be mailed to you.
 

Q: My checkbook was lost or stolen. What should I do?
A: Contact the Alerus Customer Care Center at 888.409.5375 or visit a branch to place a stop payment on the checks that were lost or stolen.
 

Q: How do I sign up for personal online banking?
A: Enrollment is easy using our online system. Click here to get started.
 

Q: I forgot my online banking username or password, what should I do?
A: If you do not remember your username, please call Customer Care at 888.409.5375. Your password can be reset online. Too many incorrect password attempts will result in a lock-out. If this occurs, call Customer Care.
 

Q: How can I transfer money between my Alerus accounts or to my accounts at other institutions?
A: Account-to-Account transfer, or A2A, allows you to easily transfer funds to other Alerus accounts or to accounts at other financial institutions. Please note that you must be an owner on accounts to utilize this service. To set up A2A, log in to online banking, click the Bill Pay tab, then click Transfer Money.
 

Q: What is Popmoney?
A: Popmoney is a personal payment service that allows you to send money to people you know quickly and easily. All you need is the recipient's email address or mobile number. You can use Popmoney by logging in to Alerus online banking, clicking Bill Pay, then clicking Popmoney.
 

Q: Can I export my account history from the online banking system to Quicken or another financial management program?
A: Yes. Information from your checking, savings, and loan accounts can be exported into a format compatible with Quicken, Microsoft Money, and other common spreadsheet applications. To do so, click on the "Export" link on the transaction list.    From the drop-down box, select the appropriate file type, then click the "Export" button to finish.
 

Q: What browers do you recommend for using your website?
A: We recommend Chrome 39.0, Firefox 34.0, and Internet Explorer 9 or newer.
